CDQ Springtime Sessions Presents: The Making of Avalon by Loomah
A Behind-the-Scenes at Avalon by Loomah We are delighted to invite interior designers and creatives to join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience with Avalon by Loomah. This upcoming studio event has been carefully designed to offer a closer look at the thinking, process and craftsmanship behind the brand - from initial concept through to the final hand tufted rug. Introducing Avalon by Loomah The session will begin with an introduction from our team, sharing the story behind Avalon and the decision to design and manufacture entirely in Britain. We’ll discuss the importance of creating a process that supports designers - balancing flexibility, quality and reliable lead times. Designing the Ethereal Collection We will then take you through the design journey behind the Ethereal Collection. From early inspiration and development sketches through to sampling and colour refinement, this session will offer a genuine insight into how each design has evolved. You’ll be able to explore moodboards, samples and the creative decisions that shaped the collection. The Avalon Box as a Design Tool A guided walkthrough of the Avalon Box will demonstrate how it can be used within your own studio - whether for client presentations, moodboards or refining colour and scale decisions. Designed to simplify the bespoke process, the box allows for confident specification at every stage. A Glimpse into hand-tufting To round up the morning we will share a live hand tufting demonstration, offering a closer look at the craftsmanship behind each rug. While just one part of the process, it’s a moment that brings the design to life. Visualize Your Own Guests will also be invited to take part in a hands-on design session. Using our colour palette, samples and design tools, you’ll create your own rug concept. A selected design will be developed further by our team, with artwork and a sample produced - maybe it'll even be used on their next project! Reserve Your Place Now! That’s why each design in our Ethereal Collection is available in ten standard sizes or can be crafted to your exact dimensions - up to 4 metres wide. Whether you’re styling a cosy corner or a grand open-plan room, our British-made, hand tufted rugs can be tailored to suit your space perfectly.
